salute, Chopin

2010, the 200th birth annivesary of Frederic Chopin
Poet of piano, they called him
one of the greatest romantic period's pianist
if I'm not mistaken
I'd played his piece during one of my piano exams

Jay Chou loves Chopin
and because of Jay Chou,
I got to know Yundi Li
one of the young chinese pianist that won the 14th Chopin Competition in Warsaw
at the age of 18th in the year 2000!he was the youngest and the first chinese who won the golden award of the competition

look back to my piano life
its kinda sad to say it out
I failed my grade 8 at the age of 18th
what a SUPER DUPER BIG difference!
Yundi Li, a new hero of mine after Jay Chou

I love Chopin's romantic pieces
I love Jay Chou's talents
I love Yundi Li's piano playing

all of them succeed because they worked really hard
*****
Jay practised at least 2 hours a day when he was young
with his mother standing behind while his was practising
and a stick in her hand
*****
Yundi practised at least 4 hours a day when he was young
his mother drove the TV away just because he didnt want to practise due to cartoon
*****
Lynnette practised 1-2hours a day
sometimes forgot to do so
that's why she is not a performer
and gonna fly the plane instead of playing piano

conclusion: both of them were now EXCELLENT art's performer
and Lynnette ended up in the flying school

oh yeah, another young chinese pianist
Lang Lang
not bad thou
but still I prefer Yundi
because he is much more handsome =P

*Liszt's La Campanella played by Yundi Li as my background music
